Earth Systems Institute (ESI) offers support for NetMap and NetStream tools as well as watershed databases and universal stream layers.

Commissioning NetMap Database Coverage
ESI creates the watershed databases that work with NetMap tools. Please contact ESI or use the “Contact Us” tab on the website to inquire about new coverage. Also see “Commissioning Coverage” in the Watershed Database page on the website.

Tool Applications
NetMap Tools and NetStream are designed for users that have a range of skill levels in geomorphology, hydrology, fish habitat biology, fire science, soils, and forestry, among other disciplines. All NetMap tools and parameters have hyperlinked technical help manuals.

Software/Database Support
ESI provides short-term phone or email help on tool use or applications. Contact us for details.

Software/Database Repairs
When problems or bugs are detected in NetMap, NetStream or associated databases, ESI will quickly make repairs. Please contact NetMap’s website immediately with specific details on problems encountered with the tools or databases.

Classes
Two- to four-day NetMap educational classes are offered once or twice a year. Tool use and interpretation are emphasized with a focus on linking tool outputs to field examples and on the ground applications related to forestry, fisheries, road maintenance, restoration, monitoring, and wildfire. When available, classes will be indicated at the bottom of the home page.
